Both the music and lyrics of More Songs To Make Dogs Happy! have been tested and verified by dogs as translated by Dr. Ogden using a process similar to the process developed to create the first musical CD for dogs approved by dogs - Songs To Make Dogs Happy!
The music and lyrics were composed based on the responses of individual dogs as well as focus groups of dogs conducted by Dr. Ogden over a period of several months.
The input the Laurel Canyon Animal Company received since the release of Songs To Make Dogs Happy! from hundreds of dog lovers - and their dogs, was also taken into consideration when creating More Songs To Make Dogs Happy!

“We received so many requests from all over the world to release a second CD for dogs we did just that,” says Haynes. “Once again we had to change and in some cases, completely delete songs based on the responses of the dogs in our test groups. I have to say I love the fact that the dogs had the final say on all of the songs. It took the pressure off – and they know what they like and they don’t like.”
