Details:
Get a glimpse inside the lives of the real family that sticks together – the Simmons family – Mark and Debbi and their daughters Rebecca and Alicia. These fun and humorous lyrics, written by Mark Simmons, offer insight into the everyday struggles of growing up together. Every parent and child and anyone who loves kids can relate to and laugh along with these situations.

Mark is a singer and songwriter in his “spare” time. By day, he is an engineer and devoted family man. The musical artistry of folk musicians Tim Tedrow and Terry Vreeland is featured here, as well.

This CD includes a solo debut by nine-year-old Rebecca Simmons as she tells us why “It’s Tough Being A Kid These Days.” Six-year-old Alicia Simmons sings a duet with her father in “I’m Gonna Grow.” Mark and his wife, Debbi, present a traditional folk song, “Jenny Jenkins.” This is the only song not written by Mark.

Some of the songs are funny and lighthearted; others show that family life can inspire and change you. The Simmons family loves music and hopes to share this love with you. Before you know it, you will be singing along with these lively tunes.
