Katrina T. Smith is a native of Trenton and Hamilton, New Jersey.
She graduated from Notre Dame High School in Lawrenceville, New Jersey in 1995. She went on to graduate with honors double majors in Elementary Education and Psychology from Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey in 1999. Currently, she is attending Jones International University working to receive her masters in Education Administration.
She has been putting her education into good use, teaching at several local schools as a certified teacher and behavioral modification specialists. This unique business professional started her own girls and boys program titled Raising Young Ladies and Men where the youth is challenge to pursue excellence in all areas of their lives. Katrina also founded It Just Had To Be Heard, a ministry dedicated to pushing out the Word of God, unifying all races, and calling all people to grow into what they were created to do! This long awaited ministry uses the power of poetry combined with music, books, clothing, and art to inspire and motivate all!
Currently, Katrina is promoting her first CD titled, “We Are At War” produced by the well known, respected, and talented Pup also known as Donald Bolding, CEO of SWAY Records Inc. Her performances includes opening for local community events, performing for fundraisers, churches, charities, and all other occasions requested from her. Katrina’s passion and true talent has brought her many honors and awards from prominent community leaders to local organizations throughout her community.
Katrina is a firm believer in volunteering! She has dedicated her time, numerous gifts, and energy to several community based organizations aimed at the empowerment of all men, women, and children.
