Details:
Kick Up The Dust somehow began life in 1986, as a shambolic collection of university friends who happened to share both a love of making music of various types and a love of beer of most types. The nights that occurred as a result of the combining of these two passions were memorable, at least in a slightly hazy sense. For several years we played our own version of English/Irish traditional music all over London. The most active period was in the late 80''s as the members shared a home in The Isle Of Dogs, East London. Sometime after that the band began to move off to different areas of the globe but their music followed them. This album "From Liverpool to Frisco" is the second installment of songs from this group since their debut "Heroes Of The Ships" with the same drunken rowdiness as only the production team of Peter Dyson and Dave Fishwick could put together with Original members of the band from England and Southern California. As well as performances from Local San Diego Folk musicians including Matt Hensley of Flogging Molly. Recorded at San Diego''s premier facility Studio West and at Rooksmere Studios in the UK. So grab a pint of whatever''s clever and enjoy the true pub spirit as Kick Up The Dust blurs your vision once again.
