Mike James is from San Diego and has been living and playing music in Portland Oregon since early 2008. His musical background includes diverse influences including punk rock, indie rock,blues and folk.
Mike’s debut solo album, Waiting for the Shell, was just released in Portland in 2009 and has received virtual cult status from the diverse fans who are drawn to it’s raw simplicity and beauty.
