Details:
The time is now to Reform Cannabis Laws. Marijuana prohibition has failed - too many jailed because they inhaled. And weed is safer than booze. If you want the world to safer it''d be the weed that you''d choose. Please get involved and join the cause. I attended the Texas NORML activist boot camp and was inspired to write this song afterwards. In fact the entire Pot Patriot CD is inspired by many the freedom fighters I''ve met over the years. Without these Pot Patriots there would be no re-legalization movement.

Legalize, regulate, sell it and tax it! (I know the weed could save our asses.) Yeah I think we need a Weed Tax, that''s a fact. Our financial system broke, it''s not a joke. I think that a nug tax could fix that. Yeah you can tax my smoke. I read a tweet from Danny Danko, High Times grow guru, calling for a nug tax and immediately started writing a song called nug tax. During the writing and recording process it morphed into this song, Weed Tax. The song vibrates of the urgency Danny embodied on Twitter. The time is now.

"I Am NORML and it''s OK to smoke marijuana a responsible way. Consenting adults relax and play and patients get the medicine they need today". NORML is the National Organization for the Reform on Marijuana Laws. For over 30 years NORML, founded by Keith Stroup, has been leading the way with citizens like you to reform cannabis laws. They are a non profit organization who relies on donations to operate. Get educated at https://www.tradebit.com . You will find a list of the cannabis laws and penalties in your state, the status of marijuana reform legislation in your state and sound information on the industrial use, medical use, and personal use of cannabis. There is also a legal brief section, information on your legal rights, and the NORML Legal Committee where you can find a lawyer committed to the overall goals of Norml in your area. My favorite feature on https://www.tradebit.com are the widgets the have under the webmasters tools tab. (Webmaster - that''s so empowering. You are the master of your web, your social networking pages.) I see many pro cannabis pages covered with sparkle pot leaves, hot Bud Babes, buff Doja Dudes, glitter nuggets and pics of chipmunks puffing weed. Please y''all, put something of substance on your MySpace, Facebook, Stumble Upon, https://www.tradebit.com, YouTube, Twitter, Second Life, Google Alerts, etc. Get some widgets from https://www.tradebit.com . You can add the NORML Blog - have all the latest canna news, you can add NORML''s Daily Audio Stash to your page. It''s hosted by Radical Russ Belville, a very inspirational cannabis activist. Russ get''s me fired up! Add it to your page and you''ll have the latest news and new pot music every day.

There is only one place on Earth where you download the mp3 of my song I Am NORML. Just get your eyeballs to https://www.tradebit.com . Click on NORML''s Daily Audio Stash and get the song free. You can also download my song I Like Pot here too. You can lots of free weed songs from cannabis musicians from around the world thanks to Tokin'' Tam at the Marijuana Music Awards.

Free the Weed is what all the cannabis activists want. This song is my version. What''s it gonna take to free the weed? The truth will set the weed free. Activate Eyes so all can see. Unlock the cosmic mystery. You know it. Deep inside you know it. I know soon the weed will be free.

George Washington was a hemp farmer and so was Thomas Jefferson. Benjamin Franklin owned a mill that made hemp paper and drafts of the Declaration of Independence were written on hemp. It used to be a law that you were required to grow hemp. Can you imagine such a law? Let''s reenact that law again
On August 7, 1765 George Washington wrote in his diary, — began to separate the male from the female hemp, rather too late." George wasn''t just growing hemp for rope; he was growing buds to smoke. Now flash forward to the era of marijuana prohibition and there is a new generation of patriots winning the war of education and information on the cannabis medication. People like Jack Herer, John Sinclair, Tom Forcade, Keith Stroup, Marc Emery, Dana Beal, David Peel, John Lennon, Paul Krasner, Steve Hager, Jet Baker (that''s me). Are you a Pot Patriot? Since the 1960''s and the start of the re legalization of cannabis movement each generation makes progress and each generation learns from the previous generation. Because of this there are more Pot Patriots on earth right now than ever before, like Bobby Black, Casper Leich, Vivian McPeak, Scarlett Swerdlow, Steve Fox, Aaron Houston, Russ Belville, Debby Goldsberry, Danny Danko , David Borden, Peter Christ, Steven Silverman, Allen St. Pierre, Josh Shimberg, Kottonmouth Kings, Richard Lee, Genral Patton, Dave Bienenstock, Steven Dillon, Willie Nelson, Jorge Cervantes, Steve Bloom, Mishka, Brad Earnst, Don Duncan, Marco Renda, Ron Mann, Doug Benson, Ethan Nadelmann, Valerie Corral, Ed Rosenthal, Bill Mahar, Rodger Belknap, Larry, Alec, Audrey, Donna, Elise, Thumpah, Anthony, Sarah Newton, Rocker T, Woody Haralson, Rick Cusick, Tommy Chong.

I knew when I was writing this song and started listing leaders in the cannabis movement I would certainly miss some important people. Even before the CD was release I had started compiling a list of names of Pot Patriots I missed in the original song. There are some obvious omissions and apologize to all who were missed but please understand that of course it would be impossible to know or mention everyone, all the brave souls working to reform cannabis laws over the years. Here are some freedom fighters that should have been mentioned. ; Barney Frank, Ron Paul, Cheech Marin, Mason Tvert, Jodie Emery, Eddy Lepp, Craig (the wizard), …(I will be updating this list)

What''s on the evening network and cable news? World hunger? Global warming? Nuclear disarmament? World peace talks? The vanishing bees? No. Don''t be silly. Why would the media cover these issues when Michael Phelps puffed a bong? This trumps all new stories. Not only should the Phelps bong story dominate the news but the pundits absolutely need weigh in on the topic. And we must always build up our celebrities, then bring them down, then celebrate their triumphant comeback. Here''s what I think about it. The dude won a butt load of gold medals. And he puffs weed. He must be from another planet. He is super human. He is Super Stoner! Hold your head high Mike. Phelps did a bong is it really so wrong? He goes from hero to zero in the media because he puffed a little weed? What''s wrong with this pic? He''s a hero now more than ever! (Have you considered entering the World Stoner Games?)

I was hanging out with some friends in Amsterdam after the Cannabis Cup one year. We were discussing the 60''s. (I was doing a lot of listening and learning from some counterculture leaders who were there.) During the conversation Steven Gaskin said ''The hippies were right". Now I''ve heard this phrase many times before. I''ve seen it on bumper stickers and T Shirts for years. But when Steven said it the phrase had a different meaning to me. At that moment I made a mental note to write a song about it. I dedicate this song to Stephen and Ina May Gaskin. The founded a new kind of community, The Farm, which thrives to this day in Tennessee. Learn about the community at https://www.tradebit.com . Love Respect and Unity. The Hippies Were Right

Ok if you''ve found my music you like to get High. But do you really know what it means to be high? I looked it up on line. If you think getting high only means smoking pot then you may be surprised at the true definition of high. Here are few of the definitions, exalted, eloquent, elevated, of great importance, stressing matters of doctrine and ceremony.

It''s almost 2012. Are you ready? Beware, there are many who wish to confuse you. But if you see through the lies then you''ll be blissfully excited about the 2012 surprise. In this song I explain The Role of Cannabis in 2012.

Why Did the Stoner Cross the Road? Think about it. You know the answer. It''s the first or second thing you think of. But the more you ask the question, the more answers you will receive.

The last track is a 420 Transmutation Communication , a message and documentation for the world as we know it today and also for the next world. In 5...4…3…2…1
