State of Euphoria (My experience)
This song really was born out of one the most tragic times in my life. One day my husband''s boss came to the house and announced to me and my little girl that there had been an accident at work. My husband was welding inside of a rock crusher and did not have enough air and he fell and died. We started screaming and crying. All my little girl did was cry and asked "why"? We were married for 17 years and I pretty much screamed, cried, prayed and walked for two years straight after the funeral. Through that time I did a lot of writing about my the intense sorrow I had from losing my husband so quickly. It was really crazy, not even getting to say goodbye. This was the hardest thing I had ever dealt with in my life.
After I began to heal and started to date again I had feelings in me like a teenager again. And, the first man I dated had real commitment issues, but I was so happy to have a person to love me again that no matter how badly he treated me, which at that time, of course, I didn''t see it. I was just not in the right frame of mind yet. So anyway, I wrote this song for him. When he broke it off with me I was devestated, but it was for the best. The Lord did me a favor by him dumping me. I met a much better man. One that was a million times better. When he asked me to marry him I was ecstatic with joy and I decided to rewrite the lyrics to the song and sing it to my new husband at our wedding. We are happily married and now I have a step daughter which I never had before. So even though I experienced a tragedy, God still is providing for me and my daughter.
I also rewrote the lyrics in order for anyone to use it at their wedding or reception. I tried to make it useable for most any coulples in love. That is on track # 2. Track # 3 has the soundtracks to use for performances. Track # 4 has soundtracks with background harmonies. Here are the Lyrics to both versions
