Details:
Heard of Ian Dury? the Kinks? Monty Pythons? Well now for something completely different…
Bouncy British Pop on the bright side of life – dry, understated and unaffected with a streak of light-hearted self-ridicule and a pinch of irony…….
Well, not always…. .. occasionally nostalgic and romantic…. but always catchy and always very British.

Crown Jules are Chris Scott on acoustic guitar and vocals, and Julian Scott on drums and backing vocals, accompanied by Miss Synth on the synthesiser.

Originally formed as The Ttocs in 2004, when Julian was just 13, Chris and Julian started busking and playing the pub circuit in England and Germany, White Stripes style, with mini drum-kit and guitar, bashing out a mix of 70s rock and their own in-your-face folk punk pop rock. “Chris sings, speaks and screams about life the world and the universe, while Julian couldn’t care less - he bangs on his drums to his heart’s and the audience’s content” is what the Cambridge Evening News said. They won fans from groovy grannies to tiny teens and from hopeful wannabees to hopeless have-beens and in 2006 they recorded their first single “Get up” which got to number one in the Australian Mp3 Indie charts staying there for over 4 months!
In 2007 they changed their name to Crown Jules after everyone kept mispronouncing the Ttocs!
In 2008 they discovered the synthesiser and signed a contract with Ezy Soundz Studio to record the album “Slightly Fantastic”, which came out in June 2009.

The result? Something completely different?…Well not really.. There''s a bit of the Kinks, the Stones,Ian Dury, Monty Pythons,Coldplay, the Strokes,to name a few but the result - seriously good songs -so sit back in your mini convertible and enjoy !
