Details:
Beginning the long hard road of playing the club circuit six years ago, Righteous Sin (formally known as M@sterMind) has become one of the most exciting bands to hit the stage. Formed in August of 2002, Righteous Sin has performed hundreds of shows at various venues and just celebrated their seventh anniversary of rocking stages across the region. With over 40 years of combined performing experience among its members, Righteous Sin puts on inspiring performances that leaves the audience screaming for more. Billing ourselves as entertainers as well as musicians, these 5 young men put on a show like no other by involving our fans in their stage antics and musical endeavors.

Known for the cutting edge night club performances, we are also fully versed in performing in front of all age groups. The band has played before fans ages 13 and up from venues ranging from private parties to charity events. This makes us one of the biggest bands in demand for all age''s events such as festivals, parties, and charity concerts. With a variety of influences ranging from Prince to Pantera, there is quite literally something for everyone at a Righteous Sin performance. Having played with acts such as Cloud Ten, Drivin N Cryin, Drowning Pool, and Course of Nature, Righteous Sin is no stranger to the big stage. With over 300 shows under their belt in 3 states at approximately 40 venues, playing to audiences varying in size from 50 - 2000 people, the band plays a variety of music ranging from 80s classic hair metal to new rock music you hear on the radio today.

In 2002, winning the regional Poplar Head Battle of the Bands in Dothan after being together only 4 months, it was clear the chemistry was there to take what we wanted from the music industry. This opened the doors for limited sponsorships from local distributors such as Budweiser, True Music, and Jagermeister. In 2003 and 2004, Righteous Sin was the featured band at FreedomFest, the Independence Day fireworks extravaganza held on Fort Rucker and hosted by the MWR office. One year later, we were one of the featured bands of the Rock 102.5 Rock a Thon, held at Club Darkside to benefit the Special Olympics. Traveling south to Panama City Beach, the band took Best Guitar honors at the 2005 Jagermeister Battle of the Bands held at Club Lavela, beating out literally hundreds of other guitarists from around the nation. In 2007, Righteous Sin was voted to headline the July 4th Extravaganza held in Dothan, AL out of 23 performing bands, and being one of only a handful of rock bands at the event. In 2009, at the 13th annual Spring Fling Car Show in Panama City Beach, we took 1st place with almost a perfect score (292 out of 300).

After several lineup changes, the band is taking the stage with constantly evolving original material and an electrifying stage shows. Righteous Sin is currently beginning the recording process of all original material. Their music is featured in a local film being produced and filmed in the Wiregrass Area by Edward Emory Productions and distributed on DVD. In 2008, Righteous Sin became affiliated with the Independent record label Korvid Inc.

With vocalist Brant Langham, lead guitarist TJ Williams, rhythm guitarist Tyson Carter, bass guitarist Brandon Shelby, and drummer Wade "Tweeb" Boan, new avenues of creative composition are opening up. Combining songs such as "Righteous Sin" and "Journey" with new and original material, Righteous Sin is ready to continue the tour circuit and lay waste to a venue near you.
