A Nashville native raised on the West Coast, G-DUB dons the title rapper, producer, writer, CEO of Dubtrax Entertainment (DTE), and actor extraordinaire. Groomed as a producer at the age of twelve by a close family friend G-DUB is working to bring the vision of his late mentor into focus. “My early background was in production and songwriting for R&B and Pop. Long before I even thought about rapping I was producing and writing songs. When I transferred over to the rap game my back ground added another dimension to the way I do hip hop. I’ve been groomed to be on top.” G-DUB’S proprietary blend of layering what’s good in music, with the beats that make you feel good in hip-hop is making him a Bay Area pioneer daring to break away from the local industry sound and genre of music.

When most rappers are trying to cross over and establish careers in the movie industry, this rapper has a resume of acting projects already done and is in an upcoming film to be released Summer 2006. In between takes G-DUB is in the studio working on his next album DUBNATION II. With the release of his mixed tape “Don’t Turn Your Back On Us” Vol I. (Backed by the Dynasty Family. Hosted by DJ Maniakal, mixed by Black Rob and Mastered by Starski of Pimp Hop Records.) This mixed tape is unlike any other. Instead of using mainstream tracks, G-DUB has decided to use his own exclusive tracks. Except for the tree singles “Beautiful,” “On the Dock,” and “ Move yo Body.” Which you’ll find on DUBNATION II, along with some other surprises. This mix tape is in all Bay Area stores now. DUBNATION II will be in stores on May 30th, after securing national and international distribution.

Doing things on purpose and in purpose to strengthen his game this consummate writer by nature is constantly adding new joints to his already extensive catalog of work. G-DUB has dope rhymes and beats just waiting to be added to wax. With a combination of both street grit and supreme knowledge Dubtrax Records a subsidiary of DTE is positioned to help take the local industry to the next level by pushing it over the tipping point. With his comprehensive beats and unique sound G-DUB is creeping in the back door and a steal for venture capitalists (the business plan is available upon request) this artist knows what he wants and needs. While others talk about what they’re going to do G-DUB gets it done moving 4000+ units through gorilla marketing and down right talent on the Bay Areas underground scene in the last 18months. As a “straight force” to be reckoned with his unstoppable style and confidence on stage and on screen make him hard to take your eyes off. But meeting him eye to eye is not easy for most with a commanding stance of 6’3” 285 lbs this multi-talented individual has presence to the 9.

G-DUB has produced for some of the industries best hip-hop acts: Naybahood Watch, K.Y.H.O., Black Bludo, Mac & A.K., The Reps, and DTB. With a style not just limited to his latest love, hip-hop, he still produces R&B and Pop. Haven written and produced for R&B acts such as; Reel Tight, Heavenly, Johnny B. He has established himself in both arenas. GDUB was an in house producer and song writer for Swayd Cap Productions (Jennifer Lopez -"Love Don’t Cost A Thing.") G-DUB has also worked (writing and producing) for super producer Narada Micheal Walden who is responsible for superstars such as Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Tiffany Evans and tons more. Narada Micheal Walden also co-produced G-DUB''S hit single "Beautiful.” G-DUB has many live performances under his belt and has not missed a beat with strong openings for many hip-hop greats such as Federation, Turf Talk, Frontline, Digital Underground, Mr. F.A.B., The Drifters and many more. He is a member of ASCAP and SAG, and has a song on the movie soundtrack, “Forgiveness,” with up coming score credits on the same film project he is currently working in. He also is featured on the hip-hop compilation, “Bay Area Riders!” G-DUB is making the Octopus Lounge (Dragon Style Rick Lee SBC DJ’s event) a weekly hot spot as he performs and checks out talent for his Indie music projects.

Yes, G-DUB has experienced success in the entertainment business but is looking for national recognition. From underground to underestimated, this artist is positioning his independent label to be successful with or without a major label backing. Intellect, contagious energy and a keen sense of inclusive music wrapped with a gift for knowing what people are feeling and a supernatural ability to get you bobbin your head before you realize you’re doing it… G-DUB is a complete artist. This artist has his eyes set on the prize and is not looking back. G-DUB is on the scene and calling all industry folks to attention.
