The second CD from Washington, DC-based acoustic singer-songwriter Brandon Krueger takes an introspective journey about finding one’s path. The album chronicles experiences as specific as concert attendance (“Big Sound”) and jet ski accidents (“Water Taxi”) and as general as communication challenges (“Echo Chamber” and “What You Mean”), isolation (“Off The Grid”), regret (“Decompress” and “Still In My System”), and hope (“Daybreak” and “Tomorrow”).
The album was written over the past 3 years and was recorded in Northern Virginia in March 2009 and includes only acoustic guitar and voice.
Influences include Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, and Wilco.
