Details:
The Kris Heaton Blues Band
“Gary Moore Meets Brian Setzer”

Veteran guitarist Kris Heaton releases his debut CD “Runaway Train”. Kris has appeared in concert with some of the great music legends, such as Stevie Ray Vaughn, Greg Allman, and Leon Russell. His music has been featured on national television, as well as in national print. Kris’ music is groov-alicious and toe-tapping. He loves to perform and has jammed all over the US. You can catch him playing some of his “tasty licks” on his “Runaway Train” CD, as well as in person at the Keystone Blues and Arts Festival this past summer in Keystone, Colorado.

The band wouldn’t be complete without the harmonical flair of Ace Foster. Ace and Kris, each residing from Connecticut, have been entertaining audiences near and far. Ace’s main inspiration for his music comes from the incredible Bruce Springsteen. Ace is a New Jersey native and adds his cool Blues presence to the band. His harmonica work is featured in the acoustic anthem, “Right Hand Bleed”.

Kris and Ace hope you enjoy this train ride. Stay tuned for news about the band and an upcoming show near you at https://www.tradebit.com

"RUNAWAY TRAIN Damn right it is!! over the last several weeks I''ve been "pushing" for want of a better word for this very classy blues cd, every track a winner in my opion. I''ve been getting requests from my listeners for more of KRIS HEATON and I''m more then happy to oblige. The four tracks most requested are Right Hand Bleed,Friday On My Mind, Let''s Stroll and the very popular Keeping It Up. But I have my fav tracks that get played every week, these are Runaway Train and Buzz on, thats not to say they are the only tracks I personally like, I love this damn cd!! Personally, I love this cd, its on constant roate on my cars cd and at home. Can''t wait for more from you. Keep the faith." Coral Coast 94.7 FM - Australia

"Great Album. Fantastic stuff for our Radio Station." BRTO Radio, The Netherlands

"Enjoyed this band & most tracks. Have played a few on radio programme & will play more." Central Coast Community Radio (Now Coast F), Australia

"Take a dram of blues guitar, add some harp and combine with some great horns and what do you get? Runaway Train, of course, by the Kris Heaton Blues Band. This is one album that sounds more live than live and is guaranteed to have you bopping or foot stomping from track one onwards." Australia - Highlands 100.7FM

"I have received the CD "Runaway Train" thank you very much. Shortly we will present it as innovation in my program. I have liked the CD very much. I have found this to be a very interesting CD. I also will recommend your website. "Red Hot Blues Program" - Radio Vilafant - Spain

"Raunchy, gets the whole house rockin."
QBN FM 96.7 - Australia

"I''m glad that Kris Heaton brings real blues in an enthousiast way. It is a studio album, but it can be a ''live'' recording. The jump song "Let''s stroll" is a happy song and you can''t stay seated. But there are different styles on this album. "Friday on my mind" is more a real blues ballad. I play "Runaway Train", also a jump song, that will make you glad and you will snapp your fingers and move your body. Real blues and nothing less." Radio Heerde - The Netherlands

"I will be featuring this album on my blues show "A Taste Of The Blues". Not one song - but the whole album....it sounds great!!! Tracks which I like include: the title track, tracks 1 & 2, the acoustic track no. 11 where Ace features on harp. [It''s raw, unpolished, natural, and shows lots of the musician''s personality - you should do more like that.] As another Australian reviewer has said about your album, it''s "Gary Moore meets Brian Setzer" in music style. Gary Moore''s guitar style especially on track 6 "Friday on My Mind" - a lovely piece of slow, expressive blues. (Like "Parisienne Walkway" in guitar intensity). And the rockabilly of Brian Setzer on your uptempo tracks - a la ''Runaway Boy''. 8CCCFM 102.1 Alice Springs Australia

"Great sound, we have played several tracks from your cd over past few weeks. They fit nicely into the sound of the blues/jazz show. I''ll keep in touch with feedback. All the best from Australia. Feel free to let me know if you will be down under or any news concerning you or your music." 4BAY FM and 4BSR FM and 101 FM - Australia
