Kaotik was adopted at a young age and raised in New Hampshire. As a youngster he would spend many hours at local basketball courts, and it was here that he became introduced to an influential sound. From the first time he heard Run-DMC in the late 80''s, he was addicted to hip-hop. It wasn''t until he heard N.W.A. a year or so later, that hip hop really grabbed a hold of him artistically. He started writing lyrics all the time, constantly carrying a notebook with him to be able to pen lyrics. The notebook especially got heavy use during school, usually ignoring the teacher to give full attention to the paper. Hip hop became an addiction, scraping up money each week to get the hottest new release. Always writing just for fun, he soon bought a mixer and a mic and began making songs. Inspired by artists such as Eric B & Rakim, EPMD, Kool G Rap, Masta Ace, Run DMC, Krs-One, Big Daddy Kane, and N.W.A, he kept on playing around with the music, but still never taking it too seriously. It wasn''t until he heard Redman on EPMD''s Buisness As Usual Lp that he really got the urge to persue hip hop. Armed with witty punchlines, sharp metaphors, and the ability to write with versatility he started putting out mixtapes locally trying to self promote, constantly going south to Boston every weekend to handout tapes and promote himself. Through these mixtapes, he met a young producer in Boston, by the name of Matt Carter, who was looking for young solo hip hop artists to create new music through his System12/XX Production. They were soon doing shows at small clubs throughout the Boston downtown area. Just as things began moving forward, Kaotik was in a near fatal car accident and has spent the last few years in physical rehabilitation. Even in the hospital in serious condition, Kaotik never stopped writing lyrics in his head. It was in this condition that he wrote several of the tracks on the demo. Finally back in the studio, with hot production and the attitude that what doesn''t kill you makes you stronger, a never ending love for music, and a sick sense of humor, he''s determined to go after what he was forced to put on hold. Kaotik is far more than a battle rapper. Although he has clever wordplay, he also has the ability to write stories or songs with a meaning. Songs such as "Questions" & "Greatest Story Never Told", but it''s on party songs like "Up & Down", "Save The Day", & "Hot Shit" that he really lets loose. No matter what the topic, track, or tempo, Kaotik can tear it up. When he puts his mind to it, sky''s the limit.
