When K.C. THE "411" ON K.C.:
With a classic rock influence as her creative foundation, K.C. writes and performs with a distinctively lively flavor on her transparent red Ibanez AEF acoustic (affectionately named "Miss Scarlett," while her red hollowbody electric Ibanez Artcore is aptly named "Miss Scarlett Too"). Her songs range in style from melodic rock, folk rock, adult contemporary rock to country rock and ballads, and she even throws in an occasional parody or two when the spirit beckons... her answer to that comedic inner voice that wanted her to try stand-up comedy instead of singing -- so she figures, "why not do BOTH?" Her easygoing nature with audiences is a testament to her belief that we’re all just people having one big, fun conversation in concert, and many of her songs are stories that make one listen in rapt attention.
Yet her singing voice is anything but laughable, pulling you inside her songs and taking you for a memorable ride with her almost 3-octave range. She''s been described as a "vocal rollercoaster" and continues to earn the tag with her diverse and intensely-moving lyrical and musical compositions.
