October Kurt is born to loving parents John & Lois in Westwood NJ USA.

KISS is introduced to Kurt by his brother Fred in the form of an album called Rock and Roll Over. He''s hooked on KISS and hard rock and knows this is what he wants to do with his life.

Kurt buys his first guitar, a black Montoya Les Paul copy. Drives his parents crazy playing it constantly for the next couple of years.

Kurt forms his first band with Paul Browne, Larry Freidman and Rob Littauer. They call the band "SINZ". Playing mostly in the basement of Larry''s house and Paul''s garage. SINZ did finally play at the local youth center and parties.

"STEEL WINGS" is the name of the band Kurt forms with Paul Browne playing at Pascack Valley high school battle of the bands. They won!

"RESLESS" is created by Kurt, Jim Cardinale, Kevin McCarthy and later adding Rob Littauer once again. In May of that year they record a 45rpm with A side "Don''t Understand" and B side "The Power". Getting world wide exposure and their first bit of fan mail.

They re-enter the recording studio to do a few more tunes "Hold On For Love", "Take it Away" and "Broken Heart". Jeff McErlain replaces Cardinale.

Chris Altomare and Dave Messinger join the band replacing McErlain and Littauer. They hire Pandolfi/Shron Management.

The hard rock quartet change the name of the band to "DIRTY BLONDE". Sammy Fields studios is the next place they record. This time with a producer Mark Davenport on board to help refine and polish their blossoming sound. Dirty Blonde does a version of the 1978 #1 hit "Hot Child In The City" by Nick Gilder. Also 2 originals "Memories" and "Let''s Get Dirty". The first 2 start to get radio play by local stations and the band is playing often in the NY, NJ Metro area.

Chris Altomare leaves the band and they once again change it''s name. This time they are called "A THOUSAND TIMES". Joining them is Jamie Ross to take the place of Altomare. Kurt now has a serious writing partner. They quickly get a few tunes together and enter Crystal Studios In Park Ridge, NJ owned and engineered by long time friend Mike Koenig. The songs "A Thousand Times", "Libra Rising (Kelly Anne)", "Starry Night", "Rock Your World" and "Daddy" are recorded. The band is playing constantly and are gaining momentum and popularity, doing radio interviews, appearing in magazines, newspaper articles and they play at New York City''s Limelight in front of over 3,300 people but still no record deal.

Kurt takes a break from music to concentrate on cooking, painting and drawing.

The songwriter attends "The French Culinary Institute" located in Soho, NYC.

Back to music is where Kurt wants to be but in a more relaxed mode. He gets together with hometown friend and musician Rich Pavone to record 7 new and different style tunes. "Happy Fish", "Times Are Hard", "Live In Peace", "Jelly","Don''t Crush Me", "Jesus Probably" and a Christmas song "Christmas Is The Best Time Of Year" are the latest to be written by Kurt. He and Rich are joined by other hometown friends Chris Brunner and Dave Damis to complete the recordings.

Once again Kurt records, now writing a folk type tune called "Little Pail Of Pictures". He lays down the track yet again at Crystal Studios.

Later this year Kurt meets his future wife Jill when playing with "SLEWFOOT" at a local coffee house called "The Coffee Dog Cafe". Jill asks Kurt on a date and in October of 2000 the two are married. Kurt along with Kevin Cubberly, Bryan Schmidt and "Bongo" Billy Scalzitti make up Slewfoot, a folk rock-jam band that played every weekend but never were able to get some good recordings together.

Jill can''t sleep while Kurt is away so he writes and records an instrumental "The Sleeping Lily" to help her sleep. The recording is done at the studio of Jim Brower, Harrington Park, NJ.

September 28 "Diary Of An Unsigned Rocker" is set to be released. Kurt''s debut album with recordings that span a twenty year career. The album coincides with Jill and Kurt expecting their first child later in the year!

Jack is Born in December. Welcome to the world!
