Influences include - Clapton (Cream -Blind Faith - Derek and The Dominos), Hendrix, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, David Bowie, The Kinks and Yes. Greg started working with Ed Kozmo''s New Jersey band TOURNIQUET. Ed has contributed bass, drums, guitar, keyboards and backing vocals. Ed has worked with Greg from the start and is a major factor in the completion of this project. Ed has played with a number of bands, including POINT BLANK, MORTALITY and OZ.
Ed introduced Greg to Jerry Horne, who was recording with TOURNIQUET. Jerry is a great guitarist and has also played with the SUGARHILL GANG. Jerry and Greg began writing and recording. Check out the leads on "Wet Cement,""One Woman," "I Don''t See The Rain," "Perpetual Blues," "Whistle In The Park - After Dark,"- with Johnny Charles on slide guitar, "Deep Blue," " Girl In A Magazine" and "We Die Alone."
Greg was also writing with Nancy Thompson - ("Sandshark" and "We Die Alone"), Loretta Welder - ("Brown Bedroom Eyes," and "Fickle Love"- Loretta also sings the backing vocal on "Fickle Love") and John Thompson - the lead singer of SALTY DOG. John plays the mandolin on "Sandshark."
Greg was introduced to recording artist Johnny Charles - a great blues guitarist, who plays hot guitar on many of the tracks - most notably - "Brown Bedroom Eyes," "Eye Of The Storm," "Birdcage Walk," "I Don''t Care to Know," "Jumpin'' To Conclusions" and "Khartoum"- with Jerry Horne. Johnny introduced Greg to Ron Howden. Ron is best known as the drummer of the gold record winning, progressive rock band NEKTAR. Ron plays drums on - "Sandshark," "Brown Bedroom Eyes," "Birdcage Walk," "Jumpin'' To Conclusions," "Girl In A Magazine," and "Whistle In The Park - After Dark"- (with Ed Kozmo)
While recording at Ron''s Sheffield Studio - Ron introduced Greg to Benny Troy - an accomplished vocalist, who adds his haunting vocal on "Brown Bedroom Eyes."
Keith Beck - of THE CHUTTERING MUMS plays a driving rhythm guitar on "Jumpin'' To Conclusions."
Chuggy - also introduced by Ron - contributes percussion on "Sandshark" and Dave Dreiwitz contributes odd bass notes on "Birdcage Walk."
Recording artist Anne Sciolla - collaborated with Greg on "Ethereal Girl"and sings a strikingly beautiful vocal. Anne''s CD - LOST TREASURES is available on CENTAUR RECORDS.
