A product of many years in the music business (as well as a considerable amount of mileage) this CD features a mixed bag of musical styles and influences, including Country and R&B to Swing and even a touch of Southern Gospel. Don''t look for super meaningful and/or life-changing music and lyrics here. I never felt comfortable with the "music is my reason for being and I want to touch the world with my gift and leave it a better place" philosophy. It''s always been kind of tough for me to take myself, or life for that matter, all that seriously. I just hope you find something here that you enjoy listening to.
One interesting side note: This is a true solo project, by which I mean I wrote the songs, played all the intruments including drums, and sang all the lead and background vocals. Please understand that I''m not trying to brag, because as several friends have been quick to point out, sure if people like any of this stuff I get all the credit, but if it''s a flop, I''ve got nobody else to blame.
