Details:
"You are the salt of the earth...the leaven that raises the soul!" The musical trio Kingdom Come strives to draw God''s children closer to the heart of Jesus, to bear witness to the Gospel and to celebrate the joy of life through their music. The group serves up a rich, inspiring and eclectic blend of styles to reach listeners of diverse musical tastes and sensibilities. Fans of the group say their unique arrangements, passionate vocals and heartfelt lyrics have inspired them in prayer, enhanced their bible study meetings, and made them get on their feet to dance to the rhythms or to sing along in praise!

Kingdom Come''s award-winning 2004 debut CD "Long Live the King" takes listeners on a soul-filled journey through a world of musical genres and messages of praise and thanksgiving. It features original compositions infused with reggae, gospel, French, and Latin rhythms and joyous, thoughtful lyrics, as well as favorite sacred songs and liturgical hymns such as "Ave Maria," "The Lord''s Prayer," "Amazing Grace" and "Panis Angelicus." The CD was honored with three 2004 Unity Awards by the United Catholic Music and Video Association - Best Sacramental Song of the Year for "Love Which Never Ends," Best Devotional Song of the Year for "Only in God," and Best CD Packaging.

The group''s second CD released in July 2005, "For the Love of God," expands into new musical territory by featuring traditional renditions of beloved Christian favorites next to rock-and-roll and big-band swing presentations, a song dedicated to the victims of the 2004 tsunami disaster, a Celtic-inspired rendition of "Ave Maria," and a special musical tribute to His Holiness John Paul II entitled "You Were the Rock." Selections from the CD were voted as top-five finalists in 11 categories (including Song of the Year for "You Were the Rock") at the 2005 UCMVA Unity Awards.

Hailing from Pennsylvania near the City of Brotherly Love, Kingdom Come is singer-songwriters Michael Bucella, Catherine Ard and Joe Marchetti (who is also the group''s instrumental backbone, arranger and engineer). Michael was a former rock-band front man and is a longtime music minister in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, typically singing at over 140 funeral masses a year. Catherine is also an active music minister and performer in numerous plays and musicals on local stages, as well as a vocalist at retirement communities and nursing homes, weddings, parties and events. A musical "Renaissance man," veteran producer and composer Joe has played keyboards, sung and entertained in many popular Philadelphia and Jersey-shore rock bands, and currently performs with two Philly-based groups.

Believing in the transforming, healing and uplifting power of music, Kingdom Come is grateful to God for the opportunity to reach hearts and minister to the Body of Christ through His gift of song. They hope their music will bring His light to shine in the lives of others. To God be all the glory!
