Details:
TFT - The Fellow Traveller is a London based electronic project, originally formed in the 1980''s. The name comes from the fellow travellers who were known as communist sympathizers in the early 20th Century. TFT is not a communist group, stylistically the fellow traveller borrows from many genres - industrial, noise, lofi, dub, disco, electronic with a soulful vibe and a unique instrumental sound.

TFT studied classical ages ago, became an avid listener of dub and went on to form several L.A. based bands - The Blue Daisies, Blissed Out Fatalists, as well as playing with Acorn, Gothic Hut and Ethyl Meatplow. Presently TFT is continually collaborating with such artists as Hit By a Rock, Madtone and The Dielectric and usually works with the principle of ''making music we''d want to hear''.

There''s not much point in recreating another''s music, but there''s lots of fun to be had in tipping your hat to stuff you love.

Fountayne Blues is an EP based around life in North East London, the thriving and mighty Tottenham. The title track is named after the ''red hot cleaning service'' a brothel that briefly existed next door to N15''s studios (until we got it shut down). The neighbourhood is colourful and varied, at times grim, and always full of surprises.

Master Kard was written as an anthem for the credit ''crunch'' and is dedicated to anyone who believes that a debt is not actually an asset.

Hello Mr God pays tribute in a very awkward way to Mr Hank Shoklee of the legendary Bomb Squad, visionary producer of Public Enemy, while also hearkening back to TFT''s early roots in the maelstrom of Los Angeles''s underground music scene of the late 1980''s, particularly the demented and wonderful Ethyl Meatplow.

TFT would like to give mad props to Mr Adrian Sherwood and the very incredible On U Sound. Thanks for all the memories.
