What may have started as a childhood dream fueled by juvenile delinquency has now become a reality. Who knew for the past 20+ years that a group of local Jersey kids had actually recorded tracks for what would become one of the biggest hit albums of the millenium.

The SPACE KRICKETs debut album "Here they are..." is a stellar collection of classic bubble-gum, punk rock hits. The CD includes a couple of cover tunes that ridiculously rock the planet: Pink Floyd''s " Wish You Were Here " and Bobby McFerran''s " Don''t Worry be Happy"

This album features the SK''s "Street Pizza" the tragic road kill song that tells the tale of two Jersey teens who accidently run over their neighbor''s cat and the sequence of horrific events that follow.

Another highlight is " My Sister''s Apartment" - a snowy, cigarette smoking Christmas extravaganza: Fun for the whole family.

Spilt Milk not quite the Nashville sound but one country tune that the Kricket''s put there power-pop, jangly rock trademark on. It''s about an unfaithful bride who gets caught in the backseat of her husband''s best friend''s car ... ain''t no sense in cry''n over her!

Mischief Night, We Want Out!!! & Radio Rock were tunes that the SKs and Rapskallion collided on. These have a cool 80''s metal edge to them.

One more mention is LSD best described as Jersey Surf Music. A tribute to one of Weird NJs most favorite people Leon Perry R.I.P.

These Jersey boys have invested a lot of passion and fun into this debut album. So if you are someone who is bored and full of angst. If you suffer from lameness and haven''t bought new music since 1989. Than this CD is for you!!!

It''s time to put New Jersey music back on the map.
