The Gospel Holy tones was formed in 1977 by Brother Obie Freeman and Bill Moore. Brother Steve Shaw joined the group just after starting it up. These three singers have been singing together for twenty eight years. Brother Leonard Baldwin joined the group eight years ago and brings with him his tenor voice. Brother Elmo Hawkins, Steve Shaw''s cousin, joined the group three years ago and the Lord has blessed us to make our first CD, He''s Got My Back. We believe in the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost and incorporate what we sing about into our daily lives recognizing only what you do for Christ will last.
