Based out of Chicago, The Circle View has been voiced as a modern blend of The Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Police, Foo Fighters, Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave, Radio Head, Pearl Jam, and Sevendust amongst others. Their raw and intense live show gets any crowd on their feet. FREELANCE, the creative force behind the band writes powerful guitar driven songs with lyrics and hooks that are not only incredibly infectious, but also deeply meaningful. These hard guitar riffs combined with a beautifully strong voice fill a void in today''s music scene.
T.C.V. is young. It was during the winter months of 2008 that the band was formed. FREELANCE (Founder, vocals, guitar, keyboards, and production), Dominic Doria (Bass Guitar, background vocals), Tom Howell (Guitar) and Paul Bauer (Drums) came together via an anonymous Miami music mogul and have since then made immense strides as a commercially viable, entertaining, but most importantly, insightful and message driven band.
In record time The Circle View has completed a full-length album entitled “The Dither Age” which is scheduled for release July 8th 2009. This official release will be distributed via CD Baby, iTunes and https://www.tradebit.com as well as through performances and the bands website and myspace. The band is also working diligently to make their new album available in select Best Buy stores. With over 80,000 friends on Myspace, album sales are expected to do well.
Because each of the band members have well established musical backgrounds and formidable performance experience, the fact that they are a young band with few performances under their belt has no effect on their sound and stage show which seems uncannily seasoned. They have performed all through the Chicagoland area beginning with a very successful debut and encore two months later at Double Door. They''ve also performed at Subterranean (Chicago) and are scheduled to perform in areas this summer such as Morris and Barrington Illinois. They are also working on limited Midwest tour dates throughout 2009.
Who is The Circle View? They are the young achievers, the dreamers, the inventors and wall breakers, the movers, the shakers and the shifters. Their hands make music and yet they are also the fists of champions and freedom fighters. In song their hearts span the globe from Egypt to the North Pole... they are unique.
