The Shack Shakers have been playing the Sydney rock & roll dance circuit for the last four years and have built a loyal following of dance fans over this time. They also travel up and down the state appearing at regular dance nights, rock & roll club events, hot rod shows and Festivals.
The Band has released a self titled CD album, “Craig & The Shack Shakers” which has proven immensely popular with their ever growing fan base. The fourteen songs on the album give a good cross section of the bands live set including their original material.
On any given night you will hear songs from the rock & roll greats such as Chuck Berry, Bill Haley, Shakin Stevens, Dave Edmonds, Carl Perkins, Eddie Cochran & Ricky Nelson. Throw in some raw rockabilly from the likes of The Stray Cats, Warren Smith (1950’s rockabilly star) The Brian Setzer orchestra and temper it with a dash of Elvis, Credence Clearwater Revival, Eric Clapton, The Mavericks and finally, wrap it all up with some western swing from bands such as BR549, The Derailers, Dale Watson as well as Craig’s own originals and you truly have something for everyone
