In 2002 the composers/guitarists Andi Koerner and Peter Kluth joined forces to start a new band project. Their vision was, to form a powerful 5 member guitar band, that would find its own character by jamming on composition fragments. Shortly thereafter five experienced musicans were found and within a year they developed the tight, deep GOLDMOTHER Post Underground Rock Sound. In mid summer 2005 Goldmother shacked up in Oli Sonntags (the drummer) Music Plant Studios , for a 4 days recording session. This resulted in 12 finished tracks. Goldmother decided to record the session live, to capture the intensity, energy and unconventionality of their live performances. Enjoy the music.
