New Hampshire native, Andrea Paquin has been writing, singing, playing and performing music since the mid nineties. At the age of 15 she taught herself how to play the guitar, and since has been unstoppable! For ten years Andrea was the bassist for the Boston based band, The Everyday Visuals. In 2004 Andrea left the band to tend to her blossoming solo career.
A passion for the outdoors, an underlying spiritual energy and her life’s twists and turns can be felt in Andrea’s music. Her truths and honesty are blended harmoniously in her songs, and the music, inspired by her hiking the trails of the White Mountains make for a remarkable listening experience.
Having played all over the Northeast, Andrea has shared the stage with many other talented musicians including Howie Day, Melissa Ferrick, Chris Pureka, Blessed Union of Souls, Gregory Douglas, Garrison Starr, Namoli Brennet, Edie Carey, Anne Heaton, Jess Klien, Ember Swift, and Pamela Means.
Andrea’s most recent release, “Listen” received much acclaim from Northeast Performer and The Noise. The record is a collection of songs written over the years past, and the album’s cover reflects the love Andrea has for nature and life.
Although she currently resides in Connecticut, Andrea is drawn to the purple mountains majesty of New Hampshire’s White Mountain range. Pastimes that include hiking, reading and meditation keep the songstress grounded, and focused on living her life to the fullest.
Currently, Andrea is at work on a new record and will be released in May. The demo features songs written over the past year, a time of change and self-discovery for Andrea.
In addition to the new recording, you can catch Andrea performing in and around the northeast region.
