Bio:
Guy Robinson is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. He is the eldest of three sons born to the late Carter and Linda Robinson. He is a 1985 graduate of Baltimore City College Preparatory High School. He received formal music training at Morgan State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music. While at Morgan, he served as a student accompanist for the renowned Morgan State University Choir under the direction of the late Dr. Nathan M. Carter. Minister Robinson is a 2006 graduate of Howard University in Washington, D.C., from whence he earned the Master of Divinity degree.
Currently, Guy Robinson is an associate minister and Minister of Music at the First Mount Olive Freewill Baptist Church in Baltimore, Maryland, where Bishop Oscar E. Brown is the Senior Pastor. Additionally, he serves on the Executive Music Board and as Maryland State Minister of Music for the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International.
Guy Robinson is the founder of Light the World Ministries. Through this organization he has released three recordings and conducted numerous concerts and workshops on music ministry. As a composer, his work has been recorded by numerous gospel music artists, including The Edwin Hawkins Music and Arts Seminar Mass Choir, Bishop T.D. Jakes and the Potter''s House Choir, Bishop Oscar E. Brown and the First Mount Olive Church Choir, The Wilmington-Chester Mass Choir, The Gospel Music Workshop''s Women of Worship, The Choir Boyz and Evangelist Beverly Crawford. Additionally, Guy has been featured as a published composer with the GIA Music African-American Choral Series.
Guy Robinson is married to Sandra Robinson, and they are the parents of four children: Candice, Cameron, Sydney and Lauryn. Minister Robinson is unashamedly committed to the call and the cause of his Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.
