My first CD as a leader, Mooin'' is a swinging, bluesy, jazz recording featuring vibes, guitar, piano, bass and drums. All the original material and the arrangements of standards are mine. The record includes a 7/4 version of ''How Insensitive'', a jazz waltz arrangement of the Lennon/McCartney ''Nowhere Man'' and a solo vibes version of ''Moonlight in Vermont''. The musicians are myself playing vibes, my Berklee colleagues Mitch Seidman-guitar and the great Joe Hunt-drums, and Boston swingers Chris Taylor-piano and John Turner-bass. It was recorded in 1997. ''Hot and Dry'' was recorded in 2002 and ''Hat Trick'' in 2009.
