I''m a singer/songwriter from a small town in Ohio you''ve probably never heard of, and probably never will. I''ve been doing this for almost 2 years now, and I''ve found that it is the most enjoyable thing I''ve ever been a part of. As Folk being my main sound, I also mix my grunge influences and acoustic influences into that to create my own unique style of music. Kurt Cobain, Billy Pilgrim, the Meat Puppets, Bruce Springsteen, and Ryan Adams are my main influences, but there are many others that have helped me to create the sound I play.
I have been working on this unique style and since have recorded many songs for my newest album I have decided to title ''Melancholy Afternoons''. I chose this for the title because depression is a thing we all go through sometime in our lives and I want to tell these stories of jealousy, love loss, hatred, and even down to the worst possible things such as suicide, in my songs. Even if the subject of the song is ugly, I want you to walk away from the stereo with a smile on your face.
