Details:
I grew up listening to AM Radio in the late 60..s and early 70..s and watching television shows like Hee-Haw, Andy Griffith, Sonny and Cher, to name a few. My parents are Musical as well. My Dad played Congas in a Latin Soul Band "the Estrada Brothers" back in the late 60s and early 70s in Southern California so there was always some real funky, groovy music going on. My Mom has a beautiful voice and was always singing around the house and while driving the car. Mom even gave a Concert in our living room in Ventura in 1968 / 69. That may have been the first edition of "Concerts in Your Home" (CiyH).

A very big influence on me was hearing live Swamp, Bluegrass and Country music at age 8 first in Ventura Ca. at the fairgrounds where I attended a Doug Kershaw Concert with my parents(1971) and later in 1972 we moved to Olancha California in Inyo County. The Population in Olancha at that time was 100. I am sure they were counting jackrabbits and Coyotes as well.
It was there that In Olancha where I got to experience some great live Bluegrass and Country music played by Bob Swandt. Bob played Fiddle , Mandolin, Banjo, Guitar , Bob could play anything that had strings on it. Hearing that music one summer night at age nine at a Mountain Oyster Roast , I was awestruck. Never ever forgot the way I felt standing about 5 feet away and just watching it all happening and listening to what each band member was doing to get that sound. I knew I wanted to play.
Further influences at that time were hanging around with John Hunter, The youngest of the Hunter Family and only son. I loved hanging around at the Hunter Ranch in Olancha. Johns mother Joy Hunter had a Record Player and two records , Hank Williams Greatest Hits and Niel Diamonds Greatest Hits. Joy played the heck out of those two records! Many years later I bought my own copies of those same two releases and they get played to this day.

It wasn´t until age 13 that I actually had a guitar I could use regularly and started teaching myself to play. The Guitar belonged to my Brother-in-law and after playing his guitar non-stop for several months he decided to give it to me for my 14th birthday. 31 years , several Bands , a few thousand Miles and another Continent later I am still playing. More to come...

Hoolymungo? What the heck is a Hoolymungo? Well it started out as a great big ugly Spider hanging around in the kitchen and turned into a Cup of Coffee with lots of Milk and Sugar... You know the kind you started drinking at age four. Anyhow, long Story there... Now its the name of Matt Muldoon´s Solo Project and may soon become a retail Chain of Coffee Shops worldwide. "Hoolymungo´s Kaffee und Musik"

A bit about the songs:
1. Walking on a Summer Dream:
An AM Radio POP Song (a la Helen Reddy???)
2. Big House on Hemlock Street:
Remembering the good ol´days when your biggest
worry was wondering which "GI Joe" you would get for
your Birthday..
3. Sometimes:
A rocky little ditty with a tiny bit of twang.
Reminiscent of when I first moved to Europe and
was trying to remember why I moved to Europe.
It´s all turned out good though.
4. They won´t be coming back:(Frank Barajas)
This is one of my favorite Frank songs, Just think about
all those places that have changed forever, or those
people who have left this place.
5. Born in the City of Angels:
Missing home but realizing I have a
life and Family here now.
6. Standing in the light:(Frank Barajas)
A rocking little AM Radio RaveUp!
7. Sitting in a flat:
A breezy little tune
8. The Fate that time has sealed:(Pat Paulson)
A great little AM Radio POP song with an earl 70´s
feel. From a Chris Paulson CD.
9. Beautiful Barstow:
The story of a guy living in Barstow Ca. His Wife left
him, he stays in Barstow where he has work. He waits
across the street from the Greyhound station hoping she
gets off that next bus, she never does.. well maybe
someday she´ll come back to Beautiful Barstow!
Hey Adam Sandler , This is one for you baby!
10. Talking ´bout love:
A short little AM Radio Country Pop tune. Hey less
than 3 minutes!
