Life is said to be an interesting journey full of pain, laughter, ambivalence and sacrifice. For many artist, this journey leaves them in despair as they attempt to reach the top before time expires. However, some will go through incredible changes, redefine themselves and return to the path of righteousness. Brother Hahz was born and raised in Newark, NJ. Before Brother Hahz came to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, he was known to the world as "Hahz the Rippa". He toured the country and performed in Europe where he shared the stage with Queen Latifah, Naughty by Nature, The Fugees and Jay Z. He has seen more than the average performer in his time. A seasoned artist with many years of experience, he spent time working and performing with Rocafella Records after making a strong impression on label founders Damon Dash and Jay-Z. A few years later he relocated to Florida to help build the foundation of Roy Jones’ record label, Bodyhead Entertainment. Confronted with many disappointments and setbacks, Hahz returned home some years later with the intentions of redefining himself. Although, God had a different plan and purpose for him. In the September of 2003, Hahz was shot in the chest and escaped death by two inches.
Hahz knew that it was nothing but God''s grace and mercy that spared his life and had given him a second chance. In the spring of 2004, Hahz fully committed his life to Christ and realized God''s purpose for his life. As a lyricist/singer/writer/producer/composer, Hahz has been commissioned to do God''s music...heartfelt music. Soon Heartfelt Faithfulness - The Movement was created which has become much bigger that the individual but focuses on sincerity, loyalty and faith in God. Brother Hahz has achieved many accomplishments but gives all the glory and honor to God. God has anointed him to minister and spread the good news of Jesus Christ across the world so that lives might be changed.
