Pain, trauma, and negative emotions are known to be associated with the aftermath of having an abortion. Merle seeks to encourage those who may still hurt after an abortion, to accept this extravagant offer of unconditional love, hope, and forgiveness. She shares this great message with her audience, writing an online column which she founded for the Website of Unto God Ministries, titled "Amazing Results,” and which was created to raise awareness of abortion. Her articles and poems are written from a close-up view, as she unashamedly shares her testimony of healing and restoration. Her goal is to allow her example of a transformed life, demonstrate the hope and joy that is available for those who still hurt, and would choose to heal.
