Dear Pet lovers,

Allow me to introduce myself. I am one of the principal performers for Disney’s award-winning Baby Einstein CDs and DVDs – a series designed to enlighten and entertain children of all ages. Over the years, I thought it would be fun to create my own product for another family member which is loved just as much as a child – the household pet. As a result, I am pleased to announce the release of a new CD entitled “Classic Cuts” from Music My Pet.
As many parents have observed, music and visuals have often served as an effective means of occupying a child’s attention while mom or dad take care of some household chores or perhaps enjoy a little quiet time. I’ve always been fascinated by the effects of music on people and became curious to see how music might also affect pets – especially those that suffer from anxiety. After extensive research and a very careful selection process (with regard to music), I decided to create a CD of newly-performed classical music that would seek to calm pets in a variety of situations (e.g. when a pet’s owner leaves the house, thunder, sirens, loud noises, new surroundings, etc.). Music My Pet’s “Classic Cuts” CD contains a palate of some of the best classical composers in music history (Beethoven, Bach, Brahms, Schubert, Chopin, Schumann and others). Studies have shown that pets respond favorably to classical music under stress-inducing situations and often slip into a very serene and peaceful state of mind after only a few minutes of listening. However, it is important to use music that maintains a soothing dynamic from start to finish which is not the case for most “off-the-shelf” classical music. At Music My Pet, we have researched animal behavior and re-orchestrated popular classical music using the sounds, chords and harmonies that soothe common household pets – and their owners! Note that our CD is endorsed by Vladae Roytapel - The "Russian Dog Wizard."
As a suggestion, play “Classic Cuts” whenever a situation arises that may cause your pet to be nervous or anxious. For best results, listen at a relatively low volume and select the “continuous play ” or “random play” button on your CD player - this will effectively repeat the program until you wish to manually stop the music. Enjoy!

Sincerely,

Tom Nazziola
