"The Bristol Brothers" are not really blood kin, but are Don Springer and Richard Hood. Joking on stage we introduce ourselves as a pair of "recovereing bluegrass musicians". We''ve played bluegrass music professionally off and on for all our lives, most recently with Bristol Mountain Bluegrass. But these older styles ring far truer to us.
