First of all, I would like to praise the name of Jesus! His kindness is totally blowing me away right now.
This CD is hot and I know it. BUT WAIT !!! Please don’t think I have a big head about it because I realize
this project was not done by my own ability. The Lord totally dropped these songs in my heart and all I did was
record, produce and arrange whatever HE said. During this project I didn’t feel much like a big time producer
arranger, song writer. I felt more like a secretary taking notation. Jesus spoke to my heart and all I did
was write down what HE said.
It’s easy for me when people ask me to describe this music:
“It’s all instrumental, but if you’re ready to go to sleep, this CD is definitely not for you. The grooves on this project are like driving daddy’s Caddy decked out with street rims and subs in the trunk that make the license plate rattle!”
I tell people if they like the grooves behind Wil Smith’s, “Summertime” then this is the instrumental CD to have! Each track “On Eagles Wings” is hot and will turn even the coldest winter day into a fabulous summer drive.
Before giving my life to the Lord, I was a DJ in and around Milwaukee, Wisconsin for over a decade. Because Chicago is only 90 miles south of Milwaukee, I spent a lot of time in Chicago nightclubs and listening to Chicago mix DJ''s on their radio stations. Because of that influence, the music that comes out of my heart tends to make people want to dance and jump or get busy in some way. Creating this CD has been quite an exciting adventure for me and my family. It continues to excite me when I see the different reactions people have as they experience my music.
I am so thankful to my family and friends for all their help and inspiration on this project. I am thankful for my wife Gail and all her support, prayers and patience. Thanks to Roman Voiers for his technical support and Aletheia Voiers for her creative insights. Big thanks to Tiffani Clayton (our oldest), Big! Noah (our grandson) and little Nyemah (our grand daughter). I am thankful for Pastor Ernie Oby and the leadership team at Word of Grace Fellowship Church in Milwaukee as well as all the Partners there.
