Parents'' Choice Silver Award winner! Brady Rymer, a playful kid rocker with veteran songwriter/arranger roots, has created a good-times musical celebration that rocks out in undiluted fun. The songs are as empowering to kids as they are entertaining; as in his four previous offerings, Brady''s powerful love and respect for children shines throughout.

Every Day Is A Birthday includes a dozen contrasting grooves supported by Rymer''s ace guitar playing, compelling vocals, trademark precision backup singers and honest, unpretentious lyrics that sparkle with insight in every line. Presenting big ideas about love of community and shared experiences while honoring the natural ebullience and creativity of children, the songs on Every Day Is A Birthday represent a Brady Rymer who has come into his own as an artist, with first-class vocals, shimmering, layered guitar work, and smooth, tasty harmonic progressions. The title tune, "Every Day Is A Birthday," encourages children to celebrate their beautiful spirit; "Keep up with You" and "Mama Don''t Allow" are rollicking riffs kid''s exuberance; the infectious grooves of "Rock ‘n'' Roll Mother Goose" and "Dilly Dally Daisy" get the whole family groovin'', singin'' along, and feelin'' real good down deep in their bones! Also included is an irresistible zydeco-tinged version of Woody Guthrie''s "Little Sacka Sugar." Listen carefully: a special bonus is a collection of brain-teasing, creative musical activities at the end of the album. Children are encouraged to listen closely while matching snippets of music with the correct songs, giving them a glimpse into how songs are built, and the roles the instruments play. And no child''s birthday will be complete without a Karaoke birthday party sing-along to tunes from Every Day Is A Birthday.
Every Day Is A Birthday follows Brady Rymer''s 2004 release, ‘I Found It!, described by the Chicago Tribunes Monica Eng as "one of the finest new kid rock CDs I''ve heard this year." The recipient of a Parents'' Choice Recommended Award, a NAPPA Honors Award, an iParenting Media Award, a Dr. Toy Award, and a Publishers Weekly "Listen-Up" Award, ‘I Found It!'' was also a Parenting magazine "Pick," a Scholastic Parent & Child "Best New CD," and a School Library Journal "Audio of the Week." The Baltimore''s Child review of ‘I Found It!'' exclaimed, "This CD is a must have!" Canadian parenting magazine, Today''s Parent, called ‘I Found It!'' "simply the coolest kids'' CD our reviews editor has ever heard."

Brady Rymer''s ‘Good Morning, Gus'' (2000) and ‘Look at My Belly'' (2002) were iParenting Media Award-winners. Additionally, ‘Look at My Belly'' won a NAPPA Gold Award and was honored as a Parenting magazine "Pick." Parenting declared, "Rymer captures the exuberance of little kids … You''ll find the perfect tune to accompany any activity, from cleaning up, getting ready for bed, or just hanging out."

Brady Rymer is the "real deal," a charismatic, seasoned performer with a remarkable gift for connecting with children. ‘Every Day Is A Birthday'' continues the natural progression of Bradys earlier work, with rollicking, rocking songs that speak to all ages. "Musically, I''ve never felt that playing for kids was any different from playing rock ‘n'' roll with From Good Homes," Rymer says. "Once I started performing for kids, people would say ‘oh, now you have to listen to kids'' music,'' and I''d say, ‘that''s the last thing I want to do!'' I want to write solid, honest songs that derive from my experience as a dad (and ex-kid), and as a member of a community of families. I''ve always felt that the best songs communicate to all ages and generations, and bring us all together."

As a member of From Good Homes, Brady Rymer wrote, recorded, and performed with the group for 13 years, releasing a number of albums, including three on RCA records, ‘Open Up The Sky,'' ‘From Good Homes,'' and ‘Live at Waterloo,'' and sharing the stage with Bob Dylan, Dave Matthews Band, Joan Osborne, Hootie and the Blowfish, and Bob Weir''s Rat Dog. In 1998 From Good Homes received an achievement award from Billboard Magazine and Irving Plaza for the most consecutive sold-out performances ever at this respected New York City venue. Since the group disbanded in 1999, a "Bring Back From Good Homes" website has been established, gathering signatures from a strong, vocal, and loyal fan base of "Homies" to encourage their return.
