He''s performed with several bands and traveled the country as a singer in various musical tours. A three month sublet in New York has become 9 years of living & playing in every borough in the city. "I express myself best with my guitar. Its like having your heart in your hands and getting to pound on it." Brian is a regular in the NYC open mic scene and has played gigs at Pianos, The Bitter End, The Knitting Factory & CB''s Gallery. Now performing with a four piece band, Brian can be seen on the main stage of some of the best rooms in New York.

"Brian Speaker has put together a captivating collection of original compositions and exciting performances on Revolution of One. The CD is chock full of great guitar work and lyrics that say something different with each listen. Add to that Brian''s always effortless voice, and the welcome keyboard from time to time - such as the memorable intro to ''Goodbye Lorraine.'' ''The Ride'' has some passionate singing and surprisingly well executed string arrangement, and you can lose yourself in the lush opening track ''Independence (Wonderland).'' Whatever you do, go get Revolution of One, because if ''Poison'' doesn''t get to you, something on this album will." -Urban Folk Magazine (issue 4 Nov/Dec ''05).
