Unexpected describes Rapper/Writer/Producer “Bone Ticks”.
His debut album “NOt What U Expected” revealed the promise of an artist on a journey. His new album "1 WAY STREET" is the promise fulfilled. Poignant, playful and real, his self-described rap lyrics are the “Confessions of a think-a-holic”. They explore life and the human condition. The way it is; could be and should be. The CD "1 Way Street is “lyrical and melodic”, not words usually associated with Rap. The artist chooses not to define his work, leaving that totally up to the listener. His job is to spit the truth by any means necessary and to take the listener along for the ride. In "KATRINA", we find the rage and agony of a people. It is balanced by the social conscience of "TROUBLE IN MY WAY". Proving he can rock tha house and spit fire, he brings pure heat with "BOW DOWN" and "WE DO IT UP"
Straight out of Connecticut, Bones’ musical roots run deep. He comes from a long line of talented musicians and performers. Perfecting his rap skills since the age of fourteen; in high school he discovered classical music. While there he performed on the stages of New York’s Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. When not making music, he excelled at sports becoming a McDonald’s All-American from Connecticut. Experience Bone Ticks - an artist not what you expected; but everything you had in mind.
