Ever since Billy Wray can remember, he’s always been interested in playing piano and keyboards. Born and raised in the Camp Hill, Pa. area (outside of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania’s State Capitol), Billy was raised in a musical family. His father, William A. Wray, Sr., was a gifted vocalist and knew enough to demo a piano since he owned his own music store, Wray Music House in Lemoyne. So Billy was always around musical instruments, starting piano at the age of 6 and learning many other instruments along the way. Ever since the age of 7, Billy Wray realized God had blessed him in the area of music. Playing his first paying “gig” at the age of 9, he has been performing professionally ever since. He also has been playing organ, piano and keyboards in church since the 1970’s. Always enjoying listening to the Word of God, Billy searched for a CD with narrated topical Bible Promises he could listen to while traveling. Finding none prompted him to make his own. He has just released a CD entitled Bible Bytes Vol. 1. The instrumental songs he used for the background will be released on a CD in the near future.
From the album notes…”Through out life I have found the Word of God is the only real source of wisdom and instruction when confronting life''s dilemmas. Using seven different translations with background music my prayer is that through this audio CD the spoken Word of God will bring forth a light to those dark areas of life we all go through.
