The inspiration for the songs on this album comes from
past and present events that actually did accur in my
own personal life. I grew up in The Virden Addition
Community in Jackson MS in the early 70s. Most of these
songs are a small reflection of my teen-aged past and others
are an attempt to deal with a few real life issues in a
humorous kind of way. Also, on some of the songs I get a
little help from up and coming Rapper Byron (Aka Black Goldie)Broomfield of the rap group Lyrical Legends better
known as Mr. Black Goldie. On lead guitar is my good
friend ,Brent Burleson who I call Bro. Brent. That white
boy can play that guitar. I ain''t lying. We were just having
a little fun in the studio with these songs, and we hope
