The Seven Colours…
The songs are based on the seven colours of the rainbow or the seven chakra’s and each colour is cross-referenced to the human body and mind, creating a link to unlock healing, restorative or comforting qualities or reinforce their strengths and rights as an individual.
For example, the colour blue represents the throat area responsible for the power of communication. Therefore, a song is sung to the child either encouraging them to use their voice to stand up for themselves or to use their voice to express themselves. The physical link takes the form of the song’s concept of a magical journey across the big blue sky. When the need to be heard arises, the child only needs to look up into the big blue sky and the re-affirmation is created. Research has indicated that positive reinforcement not only helps children perform better at academics and sport, but it also provides the firm grounding needed for good social skills later on in life.
