She gained exceptional popularity on MySpace simply covering tracks from artists such as Metallica, Iron Maiden, Jeff Buckley and most notably Nightwish. She attracted the attention of four brilliant and gifted composers, producers whom she has now had the good fortune of collaborating with. ‘Petralvar’ is the Symphonic Rock Metal project that Alvaro Galan and Petra began in 2008. They have fused Classical features with driving Heavy Metal to create an original progressive sound with interesting progressions that are very melodic and pleasurable to listen to. Alvaro also runs a successful production company called Green Druid which works professionally on advertisements and short-film soundtracks.
