Springload were formed in the bowels of Wiley Hall at the eve of the Fall of 2006 in the behemoth school of Purdue University. Tired of the musical complacency that surrounded them, our heroes set out to accomplish something different. With influences ranging from The Mars Volta, to Pearl Jam, to Queens of the Stone Age, Springload have their own sound by default. Driven by Chuck Roldan''s manic pulse, Nate Miller''s walls of sound, Paul Witkamp''s agile fingers, and Tim Billick''s driving bass and flexible voice, this band can not easily be ignored.
Springload has been featured in Purdue University''s newspaper The Exponent, the Lafayette Music League, and in the Lafayette Journal and Courier.
