Details:
Hamed Hokamzadeh is a pianist, multimedia composer, and producer.

He was born in Andimeshk, Iran. At the age of 10 he moved to the United States with his family. He has been playing piano for more then 9 years now. He has produced many albums on tape or CD, but claims that this is his best work yet.

"This album is a compilation of my compositions that I feel very close to. Even though some of the songs were written over 4 years ago, I still find myself in aw every time I play them. I feel that every note in this album is as precious as the next - and hopefully you will to." - Hamed

The album has a beautiful and original sound because Hamed combines melodies from both traditional Persian and Western Classical repertoire.

Composer notes:

1) Tasvire Seda (The Image of Sound) - This song was inspired by the traditional Persian instruments "Tar" and "Santur". It''s melodic lines and distinct rhythm combined with the virtuosity of the piano create a distinct new sound that is still faithful to the old. You''re sure to be blown away.

2) Waltz #3 Victorious - Inspired by the Waltz collection of composer Johannes Brahms, this song creates a victorious mood with a hint of romanticism.

3) Happy - The song is called "Happy" because it was composed out of sheer joy and happiness - though most people think it is anything but happy. How does it make you feel?

4) Sunday Morning - Enjoying the simpleness of a Sunday morning.

5) Dark Side of Things - Composed in 2007, this song is arguably the most dramatic song in the album - and the longest!

6) Waltz #1 - A short and sweet comical waltz.

7) Memories - Composed in 2004, this song reminds me of my childhood playing soccer in Iran.

8) Poor You - A slow ballad composed in thought of a dear one in deep denial.
