Recorded during the winter of ''08 and spring of ''09, the album Derelict features wide variety of styles and sounds. From delta blues and bluegrass-to punk and eastern folk inspired numbers. For lack of better terms, they''ve taking to calling their genre bending style "Missouri dirt music". Believing that boundries are meant to be crossed, these boys have no problem jumping from one style to the next, living by the motto "take the song where it needs to go".

Frog Eye Jug Band was a side project featuring three members of Honky Suckle-Eric, Dave, and Kyle. The two bands had fairly similar styles, and were perfoming together on a regular basis. After members of Frog Eye came to the conclusion that it wasn''t fesable to continue the band due to time constrants, RJ Flores (Vocals/Guitar), and Sam McKinstry (Vocals/Banjo/Mandolin) were intigrated into Honky Suckle. Like their music, Honky Suckle continues to adapt to change, and build on its strong foundation.
