Louisiana''s finest, three-time Grammy-Nominated Pine Leaf Boys have made a name for presenting their own inimitable brand of Cajun music with youthful exuberance. Hailing from southwest Louisiana, the Pine Leaf Boys are known for their wild shows and thoughtful arrangements. They have breathed new life into Cajun music, reviving ancient songs and bringing them to the bandstand. While Drew Landry’s self released albums have landed on the Euro-Americana chart, his appeal is more than just hustle. Landry is a legit old school balladeer who weaves down home and ultra honest songs. Part good ol’ boy, part conspiracy-minded politically incorrect pundit, he draws comparisons to Bob Dylan, Townes Van Zandt and Woody Guthrie. Though he sounds like he just ate a large, greasy meal and washed it down with a whiskey-soaked night on the town, his slightly nasal voice has its own unique appeal.
