Beginning in 2002, Johny, ToXiC, and Probe experimented with songwriting, recording, as well as learing to play together as a band. These songs represent 3 years of Buttplugs history prior to the release of our smash hit CD "Hitler''s Nipples". SOme of these songs are great, some are terrible, some have potential for future recording, and some should never be heard by human ears. While we are working on our second, yet untitled CD, we thought we would rip off, uh, tide over our dozen fans while they wait for our 2010 release. Here is a break down for anyone who would possibly care to read it.
Special thanks to the lovely Jackie, ToXiC’s current sex toy who was gracious enough to grace the CD’s front, back, and inside photos.
1. Vodka Man - Johny wrote this when barely out of high school. This is the first song he ever wrote and he used it for his original band "Floyd''s Garage". Influenced by Ace Frehley, Johny tried to write a relatively simple song along the lines of Ace''s "Cold Gin".
2. Buttpluggin'' - The first song written, performed, and recorded by The Buttplugs. The drummer who played on this is long forgotten. He only played with us for a few days and we can''t even remember his name. Colon came up with the main riff and melody and Johny came up with the lyrics while watching one of his Wendy Whoppers films.
3. RoMan - Inspired and sampled by the B-Movie "Robot Monster". We were trying to pay homage to our favorite band The Misfits who are well known for their B-movie horror movie songs.
4. Country Music Sucks - The title pretty much speaks for itself. Eddie Enema performed the drums, cowbell, and hand claps. The joke was to write a country song, sung in a country style about how much we hate country music.
5. I''m Gonna Rob the Circle K - Another title which needs no explanation. We are just tired of being broke all the time and that damn cable bill is due again.
6. White Trash Alcoholic Scumbag Son of a Bitch - The title is the chorus, and though it’s a mouthful, it’s a great sing a long song. What better to sing about than intercourse with your large breasted cousin in the trailer next door?
7. My Finger (Smells like your Mama’s Asshole) – A true story. ‘Nuff said.
8. Tim McGraw’s a Faggot – Back to the Country Music hating. The Buttplugs loathe Tim McGraw so much we wrote a song about him. He sucks dick.
9. Buttfuck the Bride of Frankenstein – Probe’s masterpiece written and recorded entirely by him. Awesome bass with Johny’s vocals. Sure to be an underground classic one day.
10. Spics are Everywhere – Not politically correct, but with a band name like The Buttplugs, what would you expect?
11. Lickin’ my Balls – This song should not exist. Johny and ToXiC were drinking and smoking pot one night and ad-libbed this song almost entirely. Johny played the one string melody on an out of tune fake Telecaster, and ToXiC kept hitting the drum machine button.
12. Heavy Metal Vomit Party – We almost did not put this on the CD, it’s that bad. But the idea is sound. Maybe one day this whole thing can be reworked. As far as it is now, it’s a salute to Molly Ringwald, The Breakfast Club, and all things 80s.
13. Buttplug Woman – Another song by Johny Bottom after another weekend with a 250 pound, kinky nymphomaniac.
14. Rock n Roll in your Asshole – The girl moaning is actually Suzie a friend of ours. She wasn’t actually having sex with one of us, she was faking, but very convincing. This is usually our closing number at our live gigs around the Eastern North Carolina area.
15. I’ll Miss your Tits – Our love song, dedicated to an ex-wife who shall remain forever nameless.
16. Jewish Girls – We really have no explaination or defense for this one. It was just one of those things.
17. Big Fat Titties – Probably needs work, but the Buttplugs spirit is all over this.
18. Sticky Dildo Blues – Our tribute to John Lee Hooker, Robert Johnson, and Howlin’ Mad.
19. Your Mama’s Fat Ass – Johny’s fetish for women’s anal cavities comes through yet again with another Buttplugs classic.
20. McDonald’s – If you’ve ever worked at Micky D’s, you’ll know exactly what we are talking about. If you’ve never worked at McDonald’s, you’ll never eat there again after hearing this.
21. Cecil (The Bisexual Orangutan) – This is a demo only. Johny wrote the words and recorded this along with a drum machine sample track. Hilarious, but needs to be properly recorded someday. ToXiC sings the part of Cecil.
