ADHD THE BAND: ALBUM SOON TO BE RELEASED
The self-titled album was produced by Tim ''Fox'' Johnstone of Bakehouse Studios. Tim''s production skills were put to use previously by Australia''s infamous Nick Cave, and Vancouver''s, The Waifs.
BACKGROUND
ADHD the band originates from Melbourne, Australia by two introverted perfectionists who created a concept album, straight recording, for one month, in January 2004. It has taken 2 more years to master and produce that music.
Melbourne, Australia, is one of the most happening live musical scenes for Rock n Roll. John Noonan and Rina Rosen clicked musically and created a soft/hard rock sound that sounds like no other. Rina, coming from Toronto''s music scene, who had drifted into her own world for over 10 years to craft a hard rock stylized sound, in Drop B. While John uses unique soft and ethereal stylized guitar sounds to create a original lead guitar for ADHD the band.
THE LIVE SHOW
After spending 3 years drifting through the Melbourne Music Scene in Australia, Rina returned to Toronto, Canada. She had been involved with Aus rock bands, such as Magic Dirt, Jihad Againist America, and Remake Remodel, helping to organize Melbourne''s Ladyfest Melbourne Festival, a 4 day musical extravaganza.
Upon returning to Toronto, she gathered friends and rock locals to create the live band, ADHD the band, featuring Adrian Pasen, Tristen Bakker, and Jillian Bunting.
The original players of John Noonan and Jonny Bunce are not lost - ADHD the band will continue working with John Noonan in Australia, while touring North America.
