Details:
Andale (pronounced un-da-lay), a.k.a. Trey Williams, is a lyricist of real life experiences. If you listen carefully, you’ll be sure to hear a reference to which you or someone you know can relate directly. There is no doubt Andale'' has one hand in God’s and one on the pulse of life. Through his God-given ability and trademark delivery, Andale'' conveys the spiritual struggles, challenges, and obstacles that are his own and we all have faced at one time or another. Nonetheless, with that same ability is expressed the solution, hope, and promise that is found in God. It was in high school where Andale''s ability began to take shape and Andale was born. From his own struggles of everyday life, he found solace in the classroom where he fused the pen of poetry and the ease of essays with rhythm and rhyme. Citing early influences like Twista and Bone-Thugs in Harmony, he began to perform at school events and pep rallies at Whites Creek - one of Nashville’s largest high schools - and was later featured on a local rap group’s first album. Unable to separate himself from the childhood teachings of God’s love and the importance of a relationship with Him, Andale realized he should distinguish the content of his lyrics. And now influences include Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin, fellow Christian hip-hop artist T-Bone, his earthly and Heavenly Father. Andale has been featured on TV 19 in Huntsville, AL, News Channel 4 in Nashville, and the gospel rap group he started had the opening song for a Sunday morning program on WQQK 92.1 FM also in Nashville. He has had the privilege of recording with Grammy nominated producers Incorporated Elements (Grits, Out of Eden), as well as Kelvin Wooten (Musiq, Raphael Saadiq), Mr. Del in addition to up and coming producers in the Nashville area. He’s also opened for gospel recording artists Virtue, shared the stage with comedian Jonathan Slocumb, Christian reggae group Christafari, performed at the WEUP June Black Arts Festival in Huntsville, AL, the Heritage Festival in Birmingham, AL and a host of venues around the Nashville area. Beyond the music, Andale has committed himself to staying involved with young people in particular by preaching, mentoring the youth of his church as well as performing with the drama group of a sister church in the Nashville area. “This ministry the Lord has so graciously given me is one I’m very blessed to be a part of. God has been good to me and I intend on spreading that message for the rest of my life.”
