Annie Chang a girl from Taiwan was raised in Japan, and grew up in a music filled environment. She started singing and performing at the age of 8 through chorus, ensembles, and band.
At the age of 16, Annie’s band “Outrageous” was scouted at a live performance competition by Sony Records, Japan. In the following year, her band released their first pop album “Girls Club” in Asia.
Today, Annie is a published singer/songwriter in Taiwan. She released her first solo album “Adventurous Diary of Annie” in December 2005. Her music videos can be seen on MTV Asia and her music is played on all radio stations throughout Taiwan.
Her music is much influenced by artists such as Avril Lavigne, and Japanese bands such as Love Psychedelico, Everylittle Thing, Yaida Hitomi.
All in all, Annie’s music embraces sounds from her multi-cultural background. With her passion and dedication, she is looking to give a fresh perspective to the music industry.
