The Wurlitzer Company was the predominent builder of Carousel Band Organs in America and in the early years of the 20th century produced many beautiful instruments at their factory in North Tonawanda, New York. This one, a beautiful model 146A, serial #4317, was one of the very last ones to be manufactured by the company. Organs such as these were placed on Carousels throughout the country and have provided many of us with memories of our youth that we cherish today. Who can forget taking rides on the Carousel at the county fair or carnival. This organ was recorded in peak restoration by studio engineers and the sound quality is superb. You will think you riding on the Carousel while listening to this wonderful music.
